arrows 2 and 3 indicate sharp cuts into the aft edge of the visor bottom obviously caused by lifting wires

arrow 4points to the visor lug by which the visor was connected to the vessel through the bolt of the Atlantic lug.

The images taken on 18.10.94 prove that these damages did exist already when the visor was “found”, i.e. must have been caused by an earlier action between the sinking and the 18.10.94 because it can be excluded that these damages did exist upon departure from Tallinn.

The condition of the lug appears to be approximately the same as after the recovery.
